Security Officer Part Time Visitor Credentials

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Fernley, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to provide outstanding customer service while communicating professionally with employees and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• Sunday: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
