Security Officer Part Time Visitor Credentialing

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment for tenants and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel at the front desk of a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and contractor logs.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general building information, and communicate visitor arrivals or service requests to appropriate personnel.
• Observe front lobby activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, or policy violations to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
