Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a utility location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Carry out regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, access-control activities, and unusual conditions accurately and timely in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Requirements

• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

Strong customer service skills, ability to work independently, and attention to detail are essential.
