Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Reporting

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Bellevue, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech, Media, and Telecom. This role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you and the opportunity to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, provide outstanding customer service, respond to security-related concerns, and use technology to document activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Preferred qualifications: CPR certification, Guard Card or license, and comfort using a computer or tablet.

Pay

$23.65 per hour.

• Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
