About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access procedures, and provide welcoming customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Using clear communication and professionalism, you will help promote a secure environment while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused values.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with campus personnel, visitors, and emergency responders.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.04 / Hour
Schedule
- Day shifts on Saturday and Sunday
- 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM
