As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Observation in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, passenger waiting spaces, entrances, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe passenger, visitor, and vehicle activity, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
