About the role

As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Observation Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
