Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or campus partners while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, residence areas, parking lots, walkways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established campus protocols.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and campus contacts.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
