As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense-related location.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, site procedures, and Allied Universal policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization for entry, and document visitor, vehicle, and incident information in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess Pepper Spray Certification preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
