As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and entertainment location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for guests and team members. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. Pay & schedule
- Pay Rate: $19.30 / Hour
- Job Schedule: Day Time, Fri 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM, Sat 05:00 PM - 01:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and entertainment location.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
- Monitor access points and assist with maintaining orderly guest flow during busy periods, special events, and closing activities.
- Document incidents, patrols, and relevant observations accurately and communicate with site representatives and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
Qualifications
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
