Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol manufacturing, industrial, and shelter locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, employees, and/or program participants while carrying out site-specific, security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry as directed, and maintain awareness of visitor and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and promptly communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.

Requirements

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
