As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment for guests and team members while embodying Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork and a people-first approach.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, stock areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour
Job Schedule: Day Time, Saturday 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 09:00 PM
