Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Service

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide welcoming customer service and clear communication to patients, visitors, and staff at a healthcare location. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with facility access procedures and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Have customer service experience (preferred).
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license (preferred).
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$25.16 / hour

• Monday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tuesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
