Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Care

About the role

As a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location in Mountain View, CA, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver welcoming customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and an agile approach aligned with Allied Universal values.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, addressing access concerns, and documenting incidents or observations in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Requirements

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

$25.50 / Hour
