About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Customer Guidance in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the technology and communications location, including buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
  • Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and facility concerns, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Document incidents, patrol activities, and daily observations accurately and completely in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

  • Professional communication skills.
  • Ability to respond calmly and solve problems effectively.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.

$20.00 / Hour

DayTime: Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
