Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support badge access activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping maintain a secure environment. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior perimeter, access points, parking areas, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic; verify credentials and maintain accurate logs as required by site procedures.
- Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs while communicating observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
Pay
$19.29 / hour
Schedule
- Tuesday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Friday: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
