Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-oriented culture built on integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location by observing visitors, drivers, contractors, and employees and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.00 / Hour

• Thursday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Friday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
