Security Officer - Part Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial locations in West Sacramento, CA, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report concerns, assist visitors and employees, and provide professional customer service. This is a part-time position offering flexibility and the opportunity to explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Comply with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
