Pay Rate

$17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contact.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or vehicles, verify credentials when required, and support access control procedures for restricted and operational areas.
• Aid with site-specific utility operations support by observing equipment areas, noting environmental or operational irregularities, and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
