Security Officer Part Time Armed Driver

As a Security Officer Part Time Armed Driver in Tillery, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant information to site leadership and/or public officials.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and support controlled entry and exit procedures in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Serve in an armed capacity when assigned, maintaining professional bearing and handling assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post instructions, and applicable laws.

Requirements

• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
