Security Officer Part Time Armed Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time Armed Driver in Eagle Pass, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with local law enforcement and/or store leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, reporting observations through proper channels.
• Support opening, closing, and after-hours operations by checking assigned access points, observing restricted areas, and following post orders related to retail operations and customer-facing environments.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirement for armed roles.
• Background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
