Pay Rate

$22.08 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining readiness for an armed post assignment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through appropriate communication channels and written documentation.
• Support emergency protocols by assisting with notifications, access control measures, and/or coordination with site contacts and public officials during incidents or special situations.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
