As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to associates, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, perimeter, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred Skills
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Alarm panel experience.
- Access control/badge experience.
- Customer service experience.
Pay & Schedule
Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour
Schedule: Day Time — Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM, Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
