Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Console

About the Role

This is a part-time, unarmed security officer position with a fixed-shift commitment and the flexibility to pick up additional shifts. The role is designed for individuals seeking part-time employment with income stability and opportunities to build up to a full-time schedule.

Schedule & Pay

• Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour
• Schedule: Daytime, Friday 05:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Commitment: Six (6) month commitment to assigned site and weekly shift
• Extra Shifts: Option to pick-up additional shifts through scheduling platform

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details according to site procedures
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and report suspicious conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• Alarm panel experience is preferred
• Guard card or license is preferred
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
