Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, residential community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe resident, guest, visitor, and vendor activity in accordance with community procedures.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
