Security Officer Part Time - Site Observation

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, parking areas, entrances, loading docks, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials per site procedures, and assist with directing authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security‑related experience.
• At least 2 years of law‑enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Access‑control and badge experience (preferred).
• Comfort using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer‑service experience (preferred).
• Minimum age: 18 years for unarmed roles; 21 years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Consideration of criminal histories in compliance with applicable laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Pay

$19.10 per hour

Schedule

Daytime – Friday 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM; Sunday 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
