Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
- Communicate observations, hazards, and security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with post orders.
Requirements
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Guard card is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
