Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a premier retail location. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and retail employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter locations as assigned.
- Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized entry, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
- Document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with site procedures.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
