Security Officer Part Time - Site Observation

About the role

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location in Gaston, SC, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout manufacturing areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$18.19 / hour

Schedule

• Friday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
