Security Officer Part Time Patrols

About the role

As a Security Officer Part Time at Allied Universal in Verona, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and reporting security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain access control and check credentials when required, documenting visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with post orders.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, and relay important observations, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to Allied Universal and site leadership.

Requirements

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Computer skills are preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
