Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting access activity at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, help to deter unauthorized access, and communicate with site contacts regarding deliveries, visitors, and/or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
- Support security-related operations by checking badges, logging vehicles and/or trailers, and following emergency response activities when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
