Security Officer Part Time Patrol Experience

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized or unusual activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including business areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unwanted activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation while maintaining confidentiality of client and customer information.

Requirements

• Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
