Security Officer Part Time Experienced Patrol

About the role

As a Part-Time Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the property, including common areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry when required, and help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence.
• Complete required reports, logs, and shift documentation while communicating relevant security-related information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, which may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Wednesday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
