Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a government location serving members of the public.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and high-traffic spaces for security-related issues, offering directions and support to visitors, staff, and/or residents as appropriate.
• Assist with de-escalation support and follow post orders for trespass, disorderly conduct, medical, and/or emergency situations while maintaining professional communication.

Minimum Requirements

• A New York State Security Guard License is required.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
