Security Officer Part Time Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Assistant in Durham, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and/or vendor activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports of incidents, patrol activity, and daily observations while supporting Allied Universal standards and the expectations of the location.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum age requirement for unarmed roles: 18 years old.
• Minimum age requirement for armed roles: 21 years old.
