What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to confirm that entry procedures are followed and directing residents and guests to the appropriate location when needed.
• Support property management and/or site staff with routine security-related duties, including checking doors, gates, lighting conditions, and amenity areas during assigned patrols.

Minimum Requirements

• Type at a minimum of 40 words per minute.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
