Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, assisting with visitor direction, after-hours access verification, and other security-related duties consistent with site policy.
• Support daily operations by reporting hazards, malfunctioning doors, lighting issues, and other concerns that could impact patients, staff, visitors, and/or property.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry security protocols.
