Security Officer Part Time Patrol Detail

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Detail in Birmingham, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or conditions that could impact daily operations, and communicate observations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support access control activities and assist with directing foot traffic, answering questions, and documenting routine security-related incidents and/or concerns.

Requirements

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required may vary based on state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions only.
