Security Officer Part Time Patrol Detail
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site expectations, while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following assigned post orders.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating with staff and/or local responders when needed, completing routine reports, and helping to address security-related concerns with professionalism and care.
Requirements
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
