Security Officer Part Time - Healthcare

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a behavioral health location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related protocols, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, behavioral escalations, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and help to verify authorized entry, provide directions, and report suspicious activity, maintenance issues, and/or policy-related concerns.
• Support a respectful environment by observing and reporting disruptions, assisting with de-escalation support when appropriate, and following post orders for medical, behavioral health, and/or facility-related incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
