Security Officer - Part Time

As a Security Officer Part Time Visitor Management in East Peoria, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk while following site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor logs.
• Monitor entry activity, manage access requests, and direct visitors and deliveries in accordance with facility procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses required are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
