Security Officer - Part Time

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Aid in maintaining a professional presence at the location while reporting hazards, damaged property, or security-related concerns according to established procedures.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Skills

• Security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Customer service experience.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Age 18 or older for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
