Security Officer Part Time - Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site leadership as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare and retail areas, parking lots, entrances, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Maintain access to restricted areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and document and report security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Aid in de-escalating disruptive behavior and supporting emergency response activities while maintaining a professional presence.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen.
• Licenses may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions only.
