Security Officer Part - Time Experienced

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a healthcare location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up needs to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
