Security Officer Part Time Desk Dispatch

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will help maintain a professional, secure environment while supporting site operations with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a front desk location within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems from the front desk, reporting unusual activity and access concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures and contacting designated resources as needed.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general site information, and support the professional flow of personnel and deliveries through the lobby area.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.75 / hour

Schedule

• Saturday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
