Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, monitoring communications, and supporting emergency response activities within an educational location.
- Receive and document calls for service, dispatch appropriate personnel, and relay routine and urgent information in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate logs, incident records, and dispatch documentation, while coordinating with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed for security-related concerns.
- Monitor alarms, cameras, radios, telephones, and/or other communication systems, and report unusual activity or incidents according to site protocols.
- Support regular and random patrol activity by directing personnel to priority areas and helping to deter unauthorized activity across the location and perimeter.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

About the Role
This role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you. It is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
