About the role
As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utilities location, you will monitor alarm and access-control activity, coordinate responses to security-related incidents, maintain clear communications, and support site operations. You will help deter incidents through attentive observation, accurate reporting, and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, contractors, visitors, and other stakeholders by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor communications, alarm systems, access-control activity, and other security-related systems; receive, document, prioritize, and dispatch calls for service in accordance with established protocols.
- Coordinate responses to incidents, alarms, utility service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, activity records, and shift communications while escalating unusual conditions to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned utility facilities and perimeter areas, as required by the post assignment; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$25.50 / Hour
Schedule
- Friday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
