Security Officer Part Time Corporate Building Patrol
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial media location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report activity, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional customer service to tenants, employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the commercial property.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor and vendor entry in accordance with location procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Document patrol activity, observations, and incidents through clear and accurate reports, and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal and location management.
Requirements
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications for this position include a valid driver's license for driving positions only.
