About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for members, visitors, and employees. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and report observations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, members, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including entrances, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe customer and visitor activity while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with directions or general inquiries.
- Document observations, incidents, and unusual activity in accordance with site-specific policies and Allied Universal procedures.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Pay
$20.25 / hour
Schedule
- Monday: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
- Wednesday: 08:30 AM - 05:30 PM
