Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify access authorization, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Assist with answering phones, directing inquiries, and providing professional support to building occupants and guests.

Requirements

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience, preferred.
• Have alarm panel experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be willing to undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
